Message: I work in a shop the has 2, 89 dakotas. The problem I have is with both of the dakots. When ever you push the gas pedal to the floor and let it off really quick, first it will hesitate and after the gas pedal is up it will take off for about 2 sec.. Also they seem like they will stay in first gear longer than normal when slowly speeding up.
