well, i couldn't see spending 800 bucks for a viper converter, so in went the 6 speed. Im sure the truck would have been faster at the track with the auto but nothing beats a standard.

Ha Ha..That junk is probly the same tranny that you have in your truck. But if you decide to go with the 5 speed good luck in putting it in and good luck finding a cluster.

Justin: where did you find the tranny for 675? Did you get the driveshaft and all the other parts from keisler? They are the only ones I know of doing tremec conversions. Was the tranny you found just a random one that would have fit a mustang or something?
