I have a 1993 V6 Auto Dak. With 198600 miles on it. It runs fine uses a quart of oil every 3000 miles or so and I still average about 18.5 miles to the gallon. The power is down and I'm going to rebuild the engine. It's bone stock and what I'd like to know what extra should I do other than the stock rebuild. Since I'm going to have it apart I'm sure there are a few things that need to be modified that the factory should have done when they built the engine.. :)
Another problem I have had forever is pinging but I have read over and over on this forum is don't have the pinging fix flash done. Why ? what does it do ?
