Well, my girl and i decided it's best to let the dakota go to a new owner. We can't keep up with the payments, plus the skyrocketing gas prices. It's offically up for sale and going for $12k.

My buddy's selling his 98 dodge ram quad cab for $9,000 so i'm pretty interested in that deal since it will lower my monthly payments from the 300 range to 200 flat. That, i can afford. And of course, it's a dodge :)

If anyone knows a folk lookin for a truck, spread the word if u can. Thanks guys

Plus the ram quadcab will get a heck of alot better mpg's than your dak does. right.

that is a good point... Granted I drive a lot but I had a quadcab as a rental and it cost me an additional $20-25 a week in gas, I average $50-$60 in the dak and blew $80 without doing as much driving in the ram (I drive 500-600 miles a week in the Dak). This eats up that monthly savings very quickly...

Just another thing to think about...

I read your post in a previous forum and pasted the picture on my browser. Man that is a good looking truck! That copper is a sharp color! My question is what kind of lift did you use? I vaguely remember reading that you lifted your truck and use 33s?!

I lifted it 8 inches. 3 inch fabtech, 3 inch body and 2 inch shackle. I did go with 33 inch goodyear mt/r's but they rubbed and i didn't want to trim so i went' down to 31's.

My dak gets just the same gas mileage as my buddy's quad cab dodge ram. Mostly cuz mine is lifted and gears are off a little.

just to make things clear, your lift is actually only 6 inches. those shackles only lifts the rear. so its a 6 front 6.5 rear lift, if you used the leafs in the fabteck

Actually it's eight. I went by the ruler ;) Before and after measurements in the rear clearly show 8 inches. But technically, in parts, 6.5 like u said.
