Message: I am going to look at an 1987 Dakota next weekend with a 3.9 V6, AT, reg cab. The current owner said that the speedo doesn't work and neither does the gas gauge. I was just wondering if anyone knows if these are common problems and how difficult and/or expensive it is to fix the speedo cable in an '87 Dakota. Also, anything in particular I should look for, and what is the size of the gas tank in this vehicle. Thanks.
