just a caution. Someone recently posted an internet junk mail about which gas companies do and don't buy middle east oil. Don't believe that post. Probably started by someone working for one of the "favored" oil companies.
It's just another example of how anyone can make something up and post it as "this is true".....although I guess my post falls in that same category ;-).
but here are the actual Department of Energy links on the subject.
The true data can be found at the Department of energy website, and it basically says that it's impossible to know where your gasoline is coming from, and based on the true DOE 2002 list, ALL of the oil companies buy some middle eastern oil.
