Hello everybody, I would first like to introduce myself. My name is Kurt, and I own a 99' Dakota R/T Club Cab. The reason for this post is to annouce the creation of a new group for Dakota R/T owners in the Virginia/Maryland area. I could go in depth about the mission of our group, but it is all spelled out on our group page:

The 2003 National Dakota R/T Club Meet is going to be held in Elkton, MD in early August. More info can be found at:

If you are an R/T owner and would like to join our group, please sign up. The intention of our group is not to draw you away from this forum or any other Dakota Clubs you are a part of. But rather to provide a means to communicate with each other about upcoming events in OUR area. We will soon have our own website up and operating, but until then we are stuck on Yahoo. We are currently talking to the VA/MD chapter of Vipers Club of America, and we will be planning activities with them in the future. It should be AlOT of fun. Hope to hear from you soon.

I dont own an R/T but im sure i will be up at the meet thats just across the bay bridge.. Finally someone within 2 hours of me on here.

So far it looks like the 03' DRTC meet will be on August 7th-10th (thur-sun). This will be the 4th Annual National DRTC meet.
2000-Michigan
2001-Kansas
2002-Arizona
2003-MARYLAND!!!!
2004-Houston,TX ??? maybe
Every year the meet gets BIGGER and BETTER. Here is a link to Sport Truck Magazine's coverage of the 01' meet in Topeka, KS:

This years meet should be one of the best. With a track elevation of only 300ft, we should see even more trucks in the 11.99 and below bracket, heh, heh...
