For anyone who might be interested in this type of do-it-yourself bedliner I thought I would post my feelings after finishing this morning.

I started sanding the bed at 5pm last night and completed all the instructions easily. the process is very simple and actually fun once you start painting the liner on. Wear gloves, I forgot towards the end and my hands have a spiderman like grip to them. It takes awhile to dry, besure to tape things off very well. I did my rear bumper steps and my headache rack also. It cost me $119 at my local auto store. About $300 less than Line-X or rhino. I had Line-X on my last Dak, and I can say the look is equal. Well see about the durability. I love it, so anyone should go do it and save some money.

I want to add my 2 cents. I have had the herculiner in my truck for 2 yrs now and it is still holding up. I have had 3000lb pallets of retaining wall block pushed and pulled with forklifts in there. 20 tons of dirt and rock hauled back and forth and a few tons of lumber. The bed looks almost as good as when i put it on. I plan on coating it again next winter. You can't beat it for the price. Good post Crusty.

Color fading, I'm assuming? And what colors is it available in? The local Rhino guy wants $400 extra to get a color he doens't normally stock.

I did the bed of my last truck with a different product. It came in a one gallon can and was also available in rattle can format.
I sanded the bed and rolled in the bed coats and used the rattle can for the sides and hard to reach areas.
I let mine dry for 24 hours between coats and added a coat every day to bed for durribility.
I found that the product that I used never cured the same as a Lynex or Rhino. it stayed fairly soft. It was easy to chip and scraped out whenever something heavy slid around in the bed.
I passed up the hurculiner because I had heard similar regards for both products and WallMart had an amazing sale. I used the left over to cover a toolbox and it is holding up very well.
As for doing the bed of a truck, I would not use it again. If the Hurculiner hold up and you don't mind spending the time, give it a try.
It always brings a tear to my eye to bust out the sand paper on a new truck... I will be waiting until the paint in my bed is an eye sore before I can bear to sand it down.

I think the product I used was duramax or duracoat, something like that. I think I just used the crappy kind. Rest asured that I will be using Herculiner on my 02 quad, just not yet.
good luck and I hope this post helps in some way.
