 Subject: How many of you are soldiers?

It seems like the bulk of people on this board are serving their country in some way or fashion. I am currently a Drill Sergeant at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. What branch are you in and where are you stationed currently?
Maybe some of us are closer than we thought and could get together for some excursions or assistance. Just a thought.

heh on standby, ground pounders/5th cav, served double hardship tours in basnia and south korea, my brothers is working on his e4 in the navy (he's 16) so yeah ... I'm thinking were all over it and yes I agree with mr. mike up there, no threat is NO THREAT .. how do we accomplish that? .. kill them all

I was surprised as to how many military or former military own daks.....we better be careful someone may think we are starting a militia of midsize truck owners..lol

US Air Force for twelve years now. I am currently stationed in Italy and doubt I will deploy. I just back from Kuwait in December, my 5th 90 day rotation to the desert, and am scheduled to PCS this June. Best wishes to all that are there and all that are heading that way.

Brother - USN TAR program approaching 20yrs(soon2retire)
Brother in Law - Retired Army

Nephew - 4yrs USAF(Been out for 5yrs)
Got all branches covered xcept Coast and National Guards if you classify them as branches.

I didn't serve in the military, but my family has. One of my grandfathers was in the Pacific during WWII, the other graduated basic training the week after the cease fire was signed in Korea. Both were in the Army.
My father served 20+ years in the Army Reserves, two uncles in the Navy, one in Viet'nam, and one uncle in the Army in Viet'nam.
My brother enlisted in the Army Reserves and is currently doing his AIT at Ft. Leonard Wood studing chemical decontamination.
BADASSMP, my brother just finished his basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood about three to four weeks ago. By chance, would you have had anything to do with a group that went through then went straight to AIT at Leonard Wood?
BTW, my grandfather that was in the Pacific was discharged from Leonard Wood in '45. Just a useless small world fact.

marine from 90-94 + reserves from 94-97
Served in Southern California for a whiel then went to Europe for 3 years 1 year emabssy marine ( spit and polish marines) then came back to So Cal and was in San Diego working EOD and UDT.

Grandfather - USN USS New Jersey ( Big Gun ) 41-45
Other Grandfather - 82nd Airborne - Jumped into France in WWII.
Father - 82nd Airborne, Major, United States Army, Retired
Brother - 82nd, 319th Artillery, Captian, Just came back from afganastan.
I spent 2 1/2 years in the 82nd, 319th Artillery at Bragg. I was in 94,95,96. We spent a few months deployed in a peacekeeping opp. Pallidan 155mm, make big things go bang.
