well,
i got an email today from the feature editor of sporttruck magazine,and they want to do a feature shoot of my truck.i was really surprised.they are coming to a show near where i live,and will do it then.i guess all the hard work has paid off.maybe now my wife will lay off of me spending $ on the truck....lol

yes they do,i would say alot of companys will pick up mods that owners like us have done,and start making more.it always takes time.i was into mustangs in the late 80's and early 90's.there was not hardly much for them either,we did alot of custom work.now i would say anything and everything is made for them.custom work is better i think.
the show is in may,so i do not have long to get it ready....i am looking forward to it.

Now get that thing to the track, so you can have a time posted with your PIECE. I hate reading those articles, where folks have sooo much done performance-wise, and they haven't even taken it to a track yet to see what it will do.

hey congradulations, very deserving. i just got my last issue of sport truck last month and my subscription ran out, i will have to buy that issue tho so make sure and let us all know when its out. my dream is to oneday be in a magazine, so enjoy it.

thanks guys!i am really excited.they are here in may for a gmc truck nationals in pigeon forge/gatlinburg tn.the want to shoot it when they come for it in may.there is a mini,and reg truckin nationals there this year,and a nopi wars at bristol dragway.and in june is mopar mania weekend .i am a car show judge too,for that event.i am going to use my dad's covered car trailer to take it to the shoot.easier to keep it clean.
abington is little over an hour west on i-81 to where i live.it would be nice to get alot of you dak owners to the june mopar weekend!

its not a matter of not being worthy,it comes down to personal preference.i have showed vehicles for 12 years now and the only pjoto shoot i had was for year one mustang parts catalogue.they used photos of my car in their parts mag.
i asked a editor one time at a show about getting my mustang in "mm&ff" mag.he said black supercharged mustangs are really common,and it would take something more radical to get in.he said it was of their personal preference?he said my car was worhty of a shoot,but....its a right time at the right place,i guess.
