I installed the Transgo kit last weekend, and have had a problem. The truck has code 1740 coming up, which deals with the lockup. I called Transgo and was informed that I may need to remove the valve body again and drill an additional hole. This is a maybe thing though, as he is not for sure what is wrong. I put $110 worth of Amsoil in the tranny and don't want to waste it unless necessary. The real concern is, will driving the truck like this for a week or two hurt the tranny in anyway? It is killing the fuel mileage, but I can deal with that. I just don't want any transmission damage. The Transgo guy said that when the code comes up it just disables the lockup and won't hurt the transmission, but he wasn't positive about this either. Thanks in advance to all that help with this problem.
