 Subject: 46re trans 2-3 shift

I have a 2001 r/t and have installed a transgo shift kit. My question is what causes the lag when the trans shifts from 2nd to 3rd? This has done this from day one. I have read some posts where there were other people experiencing the same thing but offered no explination. Also, did this before I had the shift kit . Anybody have any suggestion's? Bernd?

I'm chasing that one myself. Im thinking I need to go back into the setup for the transgo and maybe bump up the hole size in the valvebody for the 2nd to 3rd. I have replaced all the sensors in the trans except the speed sensor.

Well I guess my concern is, will it somehow hurt anything in the trans? If anybody has the answer, can you fill us in?
