Message: Should you be able to feel a ridge were the two tone and base color come together.It is very sharp like a sharp tape line. I just got my truck back from body shop and you can feel a ridge wear the base colour and two tone color come together. You can also feel the edge wear the paint stops on the edges around the hood. This does not seem right. I can also see were they masked off the headlights capsule area in the fender. It looks like little buckes were the tape bunched. I am going to take this up with the owner tomorow. Is this common. I have done alot of body work and a little painting but I taught myself so I do not know if this is aceptable for industry as a whole. I guess it does not really matter because it is not acceptable to me.
Message: Anytime you bring your vehicle for paint work, to shop you should not see tape lines. Sounds like they missed aot of sanding and buffing. Make um fix it, you paid for a quality job and should expect nothing less.
