GOOD point about the sunysb but you still only know where i got to school, not where I live. I doubt most of you are smarter then me anyway(my IQ is pretty high, not super high, but its respectable)...If you were ud listen to "ignore him" and not get so easily angered...but anyway. why ignore me??? Post some pics of your car. Are you planning on putting any real performance mods into it? I'd be interested to see what kind of mods are available for that car, yet at the same time, I do not care enough to do a search on the internet.

There is a guy around the corner from me with a SE-R. Not sure what year. He revved at me one day while my daughter and I were unloading groceries from my truck. I thought that was kinda rice-like. LOL!
I'll try to catch him on the road and see if he'll play. I'll keep ya'll posted. BTW I drive a 2002 R/T CC.
I saw a guy post somewhere that has an SE-R with a turbo setup. He claims to run low 13's. That's pretty quick. And his car looks stock. Total sleeper.
Do any of the SE-R's come with a turbo stock?

nah no turbo stock...not even a turbo kit out yet.
btw you guys do know that of all the NA 4 cylinder engines available the SE-R/Altima 2.5 has the highest torque output(175/180). the only super/turbo I4s with more torque are the wrxs turbo 2.2, the new pt/srt-4 2.4, the C230s supercharged engine and a bunch of volvos and saabs(although they don't have much and almost none have 180).

my IQ is 127. rice may have less torque but I wouldn't throw around "POS" so much since you guys drive dodges. nobody ever suggested that the quaility level of a dodge was even close to that of a nissan.. let alone a honda or toyota. fact is my auto rice can probably take about 75% of the people on this site.

127!!!! OUCH...I'm sorry man, now it is all becoming clear for the rest of us. We had no idea you had a handicap. By the way...my mom had a 96 nissan sentra...got about 80k out of it before the whole electrical system went...starter, ignition system, alternator. Did a good 4k in damage...by then the car was worth 2k.

how much was the car new?? like 13 or 14. "...my mom had a 96.." hmmm as for sentras I would never buy a wimpy 1.8 or 2.0 sentra. if you want an econo car there better choices out there. the SE-R is very different from a regular sentra. besides i highly doubt sentras have worse reliablity then dakotas. and wtf is the resale of a 96 dak that cost 13-16 at the time with 80K...probably the same or worse.
btw edmunds say 3500-6000 for 96 sentras and 4000-7000 for 96 daks...sentras are cheaper..therfore...and the consumer rating is almost identical. btw i really dont care what it worth...im not about to sell it.

back up the 1/4 mile train...this car cant run a 15.4 and i never said it could(although i could with a few mods.) bes this car will do is 15.9 or so...i doubt any better then that..i mean give it a break that is pretty damn good for an NA auto I4. go race a spec v some of them run 15.1s stock(not many stock daks can do that maybe a couple RC R/T from the right year and rc 4.7 speeds...everthing else will lose to a spec(or it will be close)but the spec tops off at 135 or 140 so if they stay close they will bury you eventually) my car probably can't go over 125 or so(i got it over 110..didnt take that long and i had a 230 lb passenger but I didnt seem to want to go much faster then that(although if i had more room it was gonna go over 120) but I never said I could run a 15.4...this car just feel hella fast compared to my dak...btw Its well know around the rice boards that you should be careful with dakotas...they are a little scared of you guys.

I smoked a Dakota R/T in my 2K1 SE. He was with me until I hit 3rd gear, then he disappeared. Oh, and Dodge is Notoriously poor quality. If someone gave me a viper, I'd sell it and get a Corvette and Spec-V. Your truck is too slow, un-economical, and not to mention ugly as sin!

The Subaru WRX engine displaces 2.0 litres, not 2.2.
And check out Ford/Mazda's new 2.3L I4 Zetec. It's actually a pretty decent small engine as well. Slightly smaller displacement, but it's also a lot lower emmisions engine than the Nissan 2.5L. Both are great engine for small cars and trucks, though.
