I have a 93 3.9 dakota x-cab 4x4. i ripped out a 318 out of a 74 dart and rebuilt it tuff over 300hp. my question has been asked many of times will little luck in an strait solid answer. i'm still not to sure what tranny and torque converter to get that will mount to the 74 318 and my 93 transfercase. I plan on going non computer all analog. is there a parts truck i should look out for like an old V8 dakota or some type of D100, anything. something to make it a cheaper convertion. also are the motor mounts that bad to get costumized if needed on this swap. i'm only 20 and new to the morpar family your help would be much appreciated thank you for you time and knowledge. any added info on this swap is much appreciated.

3.9 trans. bolt to a 318 and you can use the same converter.both motors are interanly balance.

OK SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, YOU HAVE A 300 HORSE MOTOR YOUR GOING TO BOLT TO A STOCK TRANS FROM A 3.9L AND A STOCK CONVERTER, IS THIS LOGICAL ARE YOU F$CKING KIDDING ME. IF YOUR PUT THE MOTOR TOGETHER AND IT DOESNT HAND GRENADE, I BET THAT TRANS WILL OF AND THE WHOLE DRIVELINE. FOR F%CKS SAKE ITS A 93. THAT THINGS PROBABLY GOT A MILLIN MILES AND YOUR NEW TO THE MOPAR FAMILY.... PERFECT YOU GOT YOUR SELF A NICE TRUCK AYE? GREAT A 3.9 4X4 FAST HUH LOL. JUNK TRANS AND GEARS. DONT GET TO EXCITED MOPAR AINT SPECIAL, LOL. BUT FOR THE RECORD. ALL ANALOG WOULD NOT WORK VERY WELL.
