I have a 98 dakota and i have been reading all these posts about a recall for the ball joints but i cant find the recall number anywhere so if you know it please let me know. Also i dont know if this helps but some of the squeaking on my front end was due to the tie rod ends needing to be replaced.

How convienient for the factory! My '99 ball joints came apart. (Truck is history, sold it and bought a '00 R/T) Funny how the recall started on 2000 models!

HELLO I HAVE A 2004 DODGE DAKOTA SXT QUAD CAB 4X4 IT HAS 21,000 MILES ON IT NOW, AT 9,000 MILES THE DEALER REPLACED MY FRONT END BUSHINGS AND AT 21,000 MILES HAD TO REPLACE MY LOWER BALL JOINTS WITH THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS,WHAT THE?????
