I have a92 with a 318 magnum auto,i washed the engine had to dry off dist. When it started it idled for at least a half hour with NO problems. Next day it died on me and there was NO check engine light at all. After the crankshaft position sensor, pick up plate in dist, ecm (computer) was all replaced it finally started, but now it will die when it wants in motion or in park.Took it to a dealer where I purchased the ecm ($300) they ordered me another ecm. When i put that one on my #6 fuel injector went out,No od or light for od.Decided to have dealer work on wich was the BIGGEST mistake of my life. They changed the ecm & charged me $200 even though the part has a three year warranty well about a week goes by and the same problems are back as the first two times. When it dies on you, you can touch the wiring harness going to the ecm here fuelpump and everything else kick back on and it will start. I have had this truck to several different people with no luck just a lot of headache. PLEASE HELP

If it was my truck, I'd start by removing the
covering from the wiring harness in the area you
were at.

Dealer will only milk you dry...

I think somehing has a bunch of water in it like the base of the dist. > Engine warms up and it starts to evaperate > Get a compresser with good air and blow it out really good > you might get surprised > It all started with a bath > sounds to me it's all getting blown out of proportion > Should always check the easy obvious things first prior to spending bunches of money > it hurts when the fix was free and your lying in bed with an empty wallet
