Can any one help me on this one? 00 3.9 5 speed dies every time I push in the clutch , at a stop light when shifting to any gear . it starts fine most of the time but when i drive and push in the clutch it dies. the dealer wants to charge me 140 just to find the prob with the diagnostic .any body had thi problem ? how do i fix.

For codes - should be able to use the " key on-off
3 times " method to get the codes to read on your digital odometer.
But may be no codes..
Possible Air Intake Control

Yes, it could be Idle Air Control circuit, but it's such a long shot.

Troubleshoot a bit more: Get your truck idling in neutral, clutch out. Press on the clutch pedal slowly to determine if it kills the engine when you just start to push it, or when the clutch pedal gets close to the floor, or somewhere between. It matters.

Another thing you should do is get a good flashlight and check that the clutch pedal assembly is not rubbing on some electrical wires under the dash. Check all the wires in the vicinity of the clutch pedal assembly. There have been reports of wire chafing in that area.
