you grind/torch the rivets off it holding it into the control arm, no press needed, yes you can do this on the truck

I am doing my uppers and lowers, i have my truck
all lifted up and ready to take them off, but

Someone needs to read the topics more carefully...

Only the upper ball joints are rivetted on. The lowers are pressed and clipped.

I simply took my truck to Big-O tires and had them do it for me. They did the labor on my truck for $90 per side. The Moog ball joints cost me about $200 after shipping & handling. Throw in a front-end allignment for $50 and it comes out to a reasonable $430 to replace all the ball joints...and they will warranty their work.
