 Subject: 03 Dakota recall

a bit ago I recieved a recall for my 03 Dakota with the 5 speed manual transmission. I guess the wiring harness gets rubbed by the clutch and can be a problem. Fix took about 30 minutes to have thedealer fix.

Had this happen in my 1999 Dakota, except mine
started on fire. It torched the wiring harness and pretty
much all the wires on that side of the engine
compartment. Took them 3 days to fix that . I guess they
finally decided to issue a recall

Nobody voluntarily issues a recall. They have to have a gun put to their heads.
