Hey I have a 97 Dakota. The cruise control doesn't work. The light comes on, but that is it. Just wondering if there was any kind of recall on the cruise control cuz someone had told me there was, but I won't sure.

Whats up fellas, I got a 96 Dakota Sport.
My problem is when i use my cruise and when i try to turn it off the light stays on. Im not sure if it has to do with something being lose or anything like that, its just weird just hitting that button and it still says its on. Let me see what one of yall got to say about it!

My 98 Dakota just did that for the first time tonight. Was on the freeway and the cruise control wouldn't turn off. When I finally stopped, I restarted the truck and it worked fine then.
