Earlier today, I was driving down the expressway at about 55 mph (in a 65 mph) and went to pass someone so I applied some pressure to the gas pedal. After passing them, I took my foot of the gas, at around 68mph, but my gas pedal stayed down and my truck kept accelerating, up to 80, I started to ride the brake to hold off the acceleration and begin to slow down, while trying to make an exit ramp. I made the ramp and ended up running a red light at a busy intersection at about 10 mph. Made it through unscratched and turned onto the road, then, with my left foot on the brake, I pulled the gas pedal up with my right foot and managed to bring it to a stop in a parking lot. I shut it down, started it back up, reved the engine a few times to see if it'd stick again and didn't. I then turned back home and the problem didn't repeat. I was wondering if there were any recalls or service bullitans for the 5.9 R/T made in 1999. It almost seems like my cruise control was engaged, though I had it off at the time. My mods are a K&N GenII Cold Air Intake, Mopar Valve Covers and a Mopar Performance Computer. Any help is appreciated, and I do have an appointment with Mt. Clemens Dodge tomorrow.

next time your gas gets stuck put your truck and neutral then hit the brakes and shut it down. Rideing the brake will just burn em up.

Yeah, thought about that, but my number one priority was to get off the highway without getting hit by someone.
