 Subject: Looking for Kevin about a TSB on CV's

The CV I was referring to was the one for the front drive shaft. The boot bends on such an abrupt angle that it breaks open prematurely. If not caught right away, the CV will fail and take out components in the trasfer case. It cost me $800.00 to fix. The truck was out of warantee, so I called my Dodge customer service rep and complained. They offered to pay for half the job. It was better than nothing, but I think that their dealer tech should have noticed what was wrong during the 30K mile checkup and it would have cost me nothing.
