 Subject: Transfer Case/Diff Leak?

I have a '99 5.2 CC (auto) with 62K. Been the ball joint/front end route ($1800) recently. Now there's a leak at the top of the rubber vent tube that's attached to the radiator on the passenger side. Looks like it goes to front axle/transfer case. It's leaking badly out the top (there's a plastic vent cap of some sort at the top of the tube. It leaks there.) The stuff isn't tranny fluid (it's clear, but definitely lube of some sort). Dealer mechanic said it was the tranny cooler tube and unit and replaced that stuff -$300+). Obviously wrong. I had that plastic vent cap replaced once when the top disappeared about a year ago. No problems again til now. Leaking like a sieve. I don't think the dealer even knows where the tube goes to! Any help will be appreciated. Supposed to bring it back again tomorrow. I'd really like to stick it to them on this.
