CHECK YOUR DAKOTA AND PROBABLY DURANGO FOR FAULTY LOCATION OF A/C LINE!!!!
I had an A/C problem and had my expert Mechanic (Father) checked the system. He always spots goofy things where previous mechanics made mistakes and or items which were designed incorrectly.
Anyway he found that the A/C line rubs against the radiator support and mine was wore 3/4 of the way thru before it was spotted. His recommendation was to get a piece of proper sized rubber hose , slit it down the middle. Place the hose around the A/C line where it rubs the bracket. CHECK YOURS BEFORE IT BURSTS.
