Hello, I have a 98 Dak 4x4, Club Cab 3.9L. Can any one tell me how I find out if it has a limited Slip Diff? is there a tag or number on the rear end etc. that i can look at ? did all 4x4's come with a Limited Slip Diff ??. Any help is greatly appreciated. thx

inside the glovebox might say and there is a tag on the axle tube that should tell you but if neither exist......jack the rear tires off the ground and spin one.....if the other turns in the same direction it is a lsd.....if it turns the opposite direction it isn't....

Ok..I checked in my glove box and it says I have a "Anti Spin Differential" is that the same thing as a "Limited Slip Differential" ???

First, just call the dealer and give them your VIN. They can tell you if you have a posi or not from that. Limited slip differential is the same thing as a posi.
