For everybodys information I just dropped my 2000 dodge dakoto off at the dealer to fix a rust bubble in my paint. The rust started under the moulding for the windows. In speaking with the dealer he admitted there is a tsb to replace the moulding if there is complaints. Only one of my doors had rust but They agreed to replace the moulding in both doors.

Yup I have those rust spots too. I have it all over my paint. They say it is fallout. Now, along with the windows, the paint is bubling. They still call it fallout. So they will not fix it.

my rust is only at the edge of window moulding and its at the shop right now being fixed under warranty. They will replace the moulding too with the new version
