Well i know it aint no dakota, I took the stereo out of my kota and I put it in her 95 ford windstar, well I hooked it all up right and stuff like that, it works for about 2 days and then turns off, I think she said that when she turned on the heater it went off, not sure. The funny thing is that when I checked the fuses they were all good still...and It was gettting power just fine, I dont know whats up, I have instaled many stereos and never had a problem. Would anyone know where to find a wire diagram to this van, the stereo one, this way I can check all the connections and stuff or know what the problem is.

how's the ground? is it one of those kinds that the stock sterio had a big metal clip on a frame that screws to the back? that's not really there for support, that's a ground... seen that happen with late model cars several times. it works when you rest the sterio on it, because it grounds to the chassis, but when it shakes loose... well you know the rest.

Damn.... I think that is the problem, you know why the radio clock seems like its fading sometime and there is that thing that is just chilling there, and it looks like one of those grounds that hooks on to the back of a factory sterio, like on the kotas stock one. I bet that is it. I will try it out tonight, thanks.
