back in the day when I owned a ranger, (I know, I was young and stupid and had to learn the hard way) I had a problem with the door chime going off while I was going down the road. It got so agrevating that I finally went through my fuse box and started pulling fuses one by one until I found the fuse. No ding ding ding after that. So you might want to go through your fuses...just my .02 cents.

i found it. i was board at work and i decided to hunt down the ding ding ding noise maker thing... on my 2002 Qc if u follow the side step thing right next to the driver seat (that u wold step on to get in, pull it up and go toward the engine. you should run into a side pannel infront/next to the emergency break. pull that pannel off and u will find a black box screwed in with 3 screws. remove em and u will have some plugs and stuff attached to it. i didn't want to mess em up so i left em on. take off the cover and u will see a mother board with all kinds of chips and stuff. the noise maker thingy is a found black thing with a little hole in it (turn key you will hear it). i didn't want to break it off cause it was attached to a circut board. i jammed electrical tape (anyhting wil do that's all i had at the momnent) i jammed the take in the hold and that changed the tone of the noice so i jammed more in it to shut it up. then i used tissue paper and covered up the little housing it sat in for max pain in the azz ding ding ding. and put it all back together and no more damn ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding .
