Maybe you just have a drinking problem if you have wine on your speakers. he he he

That is weird to have engine whine without an amp, you might try running a 10-12 guage wire from the + battery post directly to your head unit (fused of course). Also relocate the ground to bare metal away from the head unit itself.

Your new head unit has a much higher output voltage then the stocker. Your amps input section may be overloaded, so there is really nothing you can do (unless you can adjust the gains on the amp). I would get yourself a new amp, doesn't have to be an expensive one, that way you can have more control over your system.

At least that is my theory.

thank ya for the info, i doubt ill get a new amp, ill just deal with it, would a noise suppresor hooked in-line with the amp turn on lead help? or in line with the antenna?or where else? thank ya

Check these sights out, they WILL help. There are 3 different ones. I wont suggest which one to use because I really dont remeber how much current you have running back behind your radio. But you need to wire this inline whith your head unit. They come with directions if your a girl and read those things. lol. But these things will help.
