Does anyone know if the Q-logic subwoofer for the ext cab dakota will fit in a Gen II dakota ext cab. They only have a listing for the Gen II. I saw some pictures and they look like they fit in the compartments of the rear tool box. The compartments all look the same mo matter what Gen. I hope that someone has already tried to fit the Qlogic into a Gen II...

In a word....no.

Your best bet will be to custom build one...will keep my eyes/ears open though. I just bought a QLogic box and if I can get a hold of my buddy's GenII I'll test it out.

Current mods: A MUFFLER. That's it. (For now.)
Future mods: Tonneau cover
Underdrive pulleys
Removal of clutch fan
K&N FIPK
17" rims
And much, much more.....

Let me know if it works out. I hope so. Us Gen II guys always get the shaft on cool products.

If you're out there, Arzadon, I got the sound system installed finally....JVC head unit, Polk Audio GNX speakers front/back, Kenwood KAC-819S driving a JL Audio 8W3 in the QLogic sub enclosure.

It sounds REAL good. Let me start with the disclaimer...if you're looking for bass like a Thunderform (with 2 10's) would give you, then keep looking. An 8, obviously, is not 2 10's. That being said, if you want enough bass to make your tunes sound good, with a little extra kick left over, then you're good to go. I had an 8" sub before, and the QLogic with a JL Audio 8W3 beats the heck out of the sub I used to have. I recommend it. :)
