i got 2 punch HX2 and was wondering if a Legacy Red Series 2-Ch 1800 amp would do the job...and will the amp puch 1800 watts or more.

Look at your fuse(s) on the amp and multiple that by 10, that is a very approx. maximum output of your amp.

Example: 30amp fuse, your amp is puts out around 300 maximum total watts

This does not hold true all the time, but when you see a $89 Boss Amp with a 1200 watt rating and a 20amp fuse you go "BullSh!t"

Your amp should work fine.
