Wondering if anyone's heard one of these things. I'm looking to beef up my bottom end (not my @ss) but don't want to fill the behind the seat area in my reg cab with amps & big boxes. This looks like it might be a good option for my needs. Also looks like an easy insall. Not looking for big boomy bass (yuk) but looking to add some "punch" to the bottom. Whatta you think? $145 on ebay.

For 145 it isn't too bad, it won't represent the "bottom end" very well simply because a 6.5 can't play at a decent volume below about 70 Hz. Just whatever you do, stay away from bazooka tubes..

WOW!

Well, I went ahead & ordered this thing last week & crossed my fingers. I installed it yesterday and all I can say is WOW!
This little unit far exceeded my expectations and I must say that the 6.5" speaker does indeed represent the bottom end very well. I can turn it up until my ears hurt & it sends out clear bass that I can feel in my chest. Best part is everything else sounds better because I'm not using all the power in the head unit's amp trying to push bass, and it fit between the seats behind the console.
I would recommend this to anyone with very limited space looking for more bottom!

I have this subwoofer in my car, and I have not been impressed. The sound is far from clear, and I have no idea what the problem is. It's severely annoying, and I have been considering selling it, but would rather solve my problem and be impressed. Do you know what it could be?

Hey Jeff,

Tell me more about this sub I was also looking at this one because I face the same problem with space, and if i had bought a bazooka tube i would have had to slide my seat way up and im a very tall guy, I want something that is going to give me great bass and thump but not somthing that you'll hear me coming from 5 miles away lol. Im just intrested on how this really worked for you or if anyone else has any info.
