652I infinitiy 6-1/2". Does any one have these? I installed my front ones, but not my rear ones yet. It seems like the factory speakers have more bass. Did I do something wrong? I think I wired them right, but the factory speaker wires are confusing. You can't just look at them and tell what is + and -.

You may have the polarity reversed on the two speakers, which can cancel out bass. Try reversing one speakers - & + and see if that helps. Also aftermarket speakers require more power then factory speakers, so they may seem weaker with low power.

Same here!!! It's the stock head unit in combo with the stock speakers. The factory speakers do put out more bottom end at lower volumes but they suck overall..plus they cannot handle the higher volumes..use your fader to adjust. Also don't forget that those rear speakers are way to close to the back of your head!
I thought it was my new speakers so I got a second pair and put them in my car and they are very effecient there. I will test the impedence of the stock speakers that may be why they sound louder.

Your new speaker
rs will sound better and have more snap and bass.
I'm using Concept CN-650's and have amazed people..they look for the sub(not yet installed)
If youare using the stock deck that will part of the problem.. they put some weird EQ curve on the out puts..i think it match the factory speakers.. GOd I hate Stock Stereos

I'm here but can't figure out what you are trying to do. Are you using a wire harness? What are you trying to figure out?

sorry to take so long...I'm at work
Just buy a harness it's way easier. If you need to you can find out which wire is + and - on the speaker end buy quickly touch a 9v battery to the speaker wires...when the cone move forward you have it right..now check which side had the + from the battery and there ya have it.. Touch them quickly so you don't damage your drivers.
I soldered wires to the terminals on a cheap 9v so I have nice leads on them.. works great.
Man this working thing sure gets in the way of the forum...

Use a D or AA battery (1.5v) a 9Volt battery will damage a tweeter.

+ to + - to - the speaker should push out
