Thanks

The more air space you have to more SPL you will get out of the sub. I would go with about 3-3.25 cubic feet of air space. I have a S15L7 and its max air space in a vented box is 6 cubic feet and I have about 5.75 cubic feet. It sounds awesome.

Hello. I am looking into totally redoing my system. I don't need the best quality as this will be my first true system. I was thinking of going with all Volfenhag stuff. Something like a 1,600 Watt amp and two 15" subs with 600 Watt RMS per in a sealed box. Will this system sound decent/good or am I totally off base. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

I have a single 10" in a bandpass box. The sub is a sony Xplod 5 sided, with rms at 300rms and max at 1100watts. The amp is the 5-sided 800w sony. The bandpass box with that setup kicks harder than $h!t. Rattles the hell out of my panels. I really prefer the bandpass to those little sealed boxes. Not to mention the bandpass looks 100 times better with the plexiglass window to see your sub working hard. Plus, you dont have to worry about exterior damage to the cone.

your best bet is to contact your local PD for some bullet proof glass, youd be better off asking them. obviously they have the hook ups!

To TG... go to caraudioforum.com and ask that question... there
are more than a million answers to your question.. need more
specifics.. mainly what you are tuning your vented box to, thats a
main concern... and i dont wanna bash, there is no point, but the
equipment you have isnt great for sq... post that question in
multiple sections.. and give us what u are aiming for, sq, sql,
spl???
