Does anyone know if the CD recievers that have a dot matrix display have a tendency to have small burnouts on the display here and there after a while?
I was considering getting the Panasonic CQ-DF601U

but while looking at my options this thought occured to me. Can anyone confirm the possibility of any potential burnouts?

I have had my kenwood z828 with a full dotmatrix display for a year now and have no problems, I would assume that the majority of them all work of fthe same principles so you are probally safe

Yea i also have the kenwood deck with full dot.. and its fine.. only had it for about 2 months but no probs and looks sweet
