ANyone have any ideas on sub and amp mounting locations for a regular cab dak? I already have aftermarket racing seats, so that frees up where the console was, but i really am puzzled as to where i could hide the subs and boxes along with the amp.... any ideas?

That's my current setup...it looks really nice...although I'm gonna buy some of eD's slimline 10's and have a new box built pretty soon. I like the current setup, but in order to keep from hitting the subs with the seats, I have to have the seats way up and can't recline em back too far. Not too big a deal with me since I'm only 5'8 and don't drive all "ghetto-style" with my seat reclined, but it's a lil cramped for my passengers...or most just move the seat back and one of these times I'm gonna f'k my subs/amp up from it laying against it when I've got the volume up.

Scroll through I got a couple of okay pictures I really need to take some better ones.
I have an Autobahn's 10" facing the back wall and I have 2 Rockford Punch Stage 1 8" subs in the center. They are angled and face each other, there is like 7" between the face of each 8" speaker.
Let me know if ya got any other questions there are a lot of different configurations for a box like this.
You can put cup holders, arm rests, or switches to control different crap you know.

I built a custom fiberglass box that sits behind the center console, between the seats. Holds one 10'' sub. Running off mono amp mounted behind driver. I've been meaning to get a pic, now I have a reason to.

Wow...I'm a little late replying...haven't thought to check this forum in a while.
LegendRacer, if you get the subs tuned right, they sound great...unfortunately that box was one I bought online and it's way too big for the subs so they don't sound nearly as good as they should. I'm running 2 Elemental Designs 11Kv.2's in it with an eD NINe.2 amp. I've got 2 of eD's SQ10's and a set of their components sitting under my bed waiting to be installed...these will look even nicer...aaaaaand...they shouldn't hit the seats even with them moved all the way back. Plus we're gonna be doing a custom box built for the subs so they'll sound much better.
This box is very similar to mine (so is the price) except it looks like the box volume is lower since they have a panel separating the box from the center section (mine doesn't). My terminals are also located on the outer sides of the box too...which I like since you can hide the wires easier.

Also...if you have the 40/20/40 split bench with the flip down console, I don't believe your amp will fit in that center section unless you leave the console part down at all times. Not positive on that though.
This is what my new install is gonna look like...same guy is gonna be doing mine. Just waiting on his poor ass to buy the $550 table saw he's wanting before he builds the box. lol
