One other post....To all of the audio competition people out there. Which would be better for building a sub box? MDF or polypropylene plastic. Plastic can be welded together for an airtight fit. Just curious. Any comments would be appreciated.

As long as you don't cut your MDF with an axe, there shouldn't be a problem getting it airtight... and it's what everybody else uses.. I'm not saying you shouldn't go against conformity, if you really want to, but your tunes may sound like crap, if you do. If you're going comp or just using anything higher than 1000W RMS, I'd use double thickness MDF, at least on the surface the subs are mounted to.
