Subject: 4 JLW4 subs for sale

I have 4 JLW4's in my 2001 clubcab dakota. I took the base and backs of the rear seats out to build one large ass box! The box is dual chamber with 2 subs per chamber. I have constructed each chamber to be 3.54 cu.ft. totalling around 7 cu.ft. The setu-up is tunned to 45hz. The box is internally braced and ported with two 6"X9.5" ports. I haven't carpeted it yet as I haven't decided what to do. All wood used is 3/4" MDF in the construction. The angled face helps with the angle of the seat. It's a pretty snug fit with room on the side for a couple of caps. The subs are about a year old. My ears are taking a punishment enough to sell it. I hit 148db in a comp last summer. The subs are still tight and lots of life left. MMATS D100HC running them also for sale. want $1700 CDN for both amp and subs. 700 firm for subs/box. If you know anything about these items, you'd know it's a good deal! open to offers.

No man, First of all, I live in Ontario, Canada. Second, my dak is intense blue. This set-up sounds so tight though. The low end bark that rattles my house when I come home I've been told. It's an awsome set-up, and I'll be sad to lose it. Sounds like that guy in the Navy blue dak knows what he's doin. Besides, no offence, but I'd never let someone else wash my truck. If you want it done right, you do it yourself.

Box or no box, they gotta go. I am buying a Subaru WRX, so I don't need them anymore. I've not been using them since September. I can even demo them if need be. I only want $550 for them. THat's a firm price too. For the price, you can't beat it. Seeing a wall of subs sincronized is music to the ears. I hope they would fit in your jeep. Sounds like you might have a sealed box? Where are you located? I'd like to know the specs of your box before you even try them. Would be pointless to buy them if they won't work in the box. I don't want to sell to anyone that isn't using them in the proper set-up, cause It's a waste of your money.

550$ is agood price. and I would love to get them. my box has one big board across the back laying flat across the fender wells.all four subs will be facing staight up.where the seat was is a box that slips right in between my fender wells.I ported the box with 2" tubes that I got out of crutchfield.the box has been seperated into two chambers.I can't remember how big In cubic ft. i made the box. but you probably know the perfect size for it so just tell me what size it needs to be. i made it to the size that it would acomadate 4 w3's so it should'nt be that far off.do the w4's hit like the w3's i as just wondering because i've never heard a w4.I almost got a good deal on some w3's on this site earlier. 4 for 400$.he e-mailed me back and he sold them 4 months ago for way cheaper.Oh, and i live near tallahassee FL.

i'M A LITTLE SCEPTICAL ABOUT THE WHOLE SELLING ON THE INTERNET THING, BUT E-MAIL ME AND WE'LL TALK. THIS PRICE WOULD THEN BE IN CANADIAN DOLLARS AS I AM IN THE TORONTO AREA. LIKE I SAID BEFORE, MY SUBS ARE BUILT IN 3.54 CU.FT. BOXES. 2 SUBS PER BOX, SO THAT'S APROX. 1.75 CUBES PER SUB. THE PORTS YOU ARE RUNNING, DEPENDING ON THE LENGTH, SOUND TO BE TOO SMALL. MY PORTS ARE MADE OF 6"PVC PIPE, THAT ARE 9.5" LONG. REMEMBER THAT'S FOR TWO SUBS. SO GET THE VOLUME OF YOUR PORTS AND THE SIZE OF YOUR BOX IN SINC WITH MINE, AND YOU'LL BE POUNDING LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELEIVE. I'M ASSUMING YOU HAVE A YJ. YOU SHOULD GET SOME SORT OF ANGLE TOWARD THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK SO THE WAVE LENGHT DOESN'T BOUNCE OFF THE ROOF AND CANCEL THE SOUND OUT. THE W4'S ARE BETTER THAN THE W3'S. I HAVEN'T HEARD THE W3'S, BUT FROM WHAT PEOPLE TELL ME, THE W4'S ARE LOUDER. THE SPECS RECOMMEND 2.25 CUBES WITH A 4"X13.7" PORT. SO ANYTHING UNDER THE SIZE OF MY BOX I WOULDN'T TRUST. SEALED CALLS FOR 1.25 THOUGH. CAN'T SAY I'VE HEARD THEM IN A SEALED BOX. LIKE I SAID, CREATE A SET-UP LIKE MINE AND YOU'LL BE HITTING 148DBS. MY LAST QUESTION IS WHAT AMP ARE YOU RUNNING. I'M RUNNING A MMATS D100HC. IF YOU LOOK IT UP ON THE NET, YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN. YOUR AMP BETTER HAVE A LOT OF POWER TO SEE RESULTS. MINES TRUE 1275WATTS RMS AT .67 OHM STABILITY. YOU WILL SPEND A FEW BUCKS GETTING AN AMP OF THAT MAGNITUDE. E-MAIL ME IF YOU HAVE MORE QUESTIONS.
