What size speakers can i put into my 97 club cab, i've been told that i can fit 6.75 inch speakers front and rear , but factory size is 6.5... so i can replace the crap infinity system in my truck, with a better speaker setup.

i don't know about the back in a CC but in the front doors, you can put a 6.75". i have them in all 4 doors on my QC.

I would go with a 3 or 4 way speaker unless you have some tweeters, because a 3 or 4 way wil sound better. The Pioneer TS-A1681R or Sony XS-V1641H are good and are the same price as the infinity 6012si.
But if you really like infinitys than get what you like. I had some infinity perfect subs and amp set up and was not very pleased, also the amp caught on fire an burnt a small hole in my back wall. So I would not buy infinitys, but thats just me. Crutchfield will let you try the speakers and if you don't like them send them back.

Make sure if you get a 3 or 4 way speaker and you already have tweeters disconnect the factory tweenters. I left mine in and it sounded like sh*t. 5 minutes later i disconnected them and it sounds way better. I have JL audio speakers in all four corners of my cc R/T.
