How do I remove the rear seats in my '00 quad cab?!???? I tried to get the back's of them to release, but couldn't get them to.... any help would be appreciated! thanks!

Remove the 4 floor bolts that hold each seat down. A couple of them are a real PITA, but I had an air ratchet so it was easy. Once you get the bolts out the seats lift up off the back wall bracket's.
Look for a post from GraghiteDak,,, go to the website on his signature, he has some pic's of the rear seat flip-down mod. Instead of just being ablt to flip the seat up, you can also flip the backp of the seat down,,,
It's an easy mod, once you have the seats out, cut the tips of the upper seats "locating arm" (2 bare peices of metal sticking out the back of the seat with a plastic liner). The trick is finding out where to cut the arm. I cut mine right at the plastic liner, something like 7/8" off the arm. All you have to do is raise the bottom seat up 1/2 way and the back will pull down or relatch with the back brackets. You might have to bend the back wall brackets or grind on the locating arms a bit to get the back to release and hook back up properly.
Trust me,,, you'll love this mod ;-)

What is funny is, it LOOKS like them brackets had an extension WELDED onto them from the factory. Kind of like without the extension, they were MADE to lift and fold DOWN.
I thought I had more pix of the seat mod. But I guess not. Unless I don't remember where the heck I put them on my web...
Seats fold down to access subs.
Amps are under the seats.
There's an OLD pix of the set up when the seats are out of the way. First computer set up. Now I have a Mini ITX puter in the front console. And another sub behind the left seat.
Temp MTX in the left box. Need another to match the RF when i can blow the cash.
There's room is you use your imagination. Plus some air tools, welder, etc :)

Cool, thanks guys! Hey Graph, looks like we have the same cordless tool set, Ryobi 18v. Nice set huh? I just got done installing my hide-a-way strobes in my tail lights for the FD last night, my wife is in amazement that I can actually make an install look so good since you cannot see any wires or anything at all except for the toggle switch under the dash.. lol.. usually with my old vehicles, I just kinda ran wires all over the place and didn't really care what it looked like... it actually took me two days to install everything for them. I'll post some pics when I get them downloaded.
