Ok everyone stop looking into buying Capacitors!!! Theey do little if
any good!!! Electrical 101. Everyone that says they have a bad
current problem in their car audio system usually really has a band
ground, poor stock electrical, needs to d othe big 3, get a bigger
alt etc etc... not a CAP!!! Everyone stop buying Caps! They don't do
sh!T

I am freaking out cuz this week alone i met 4 people that bought
caps for 100 plus with no help.. waste of money they buy it without
research. stop

Caps help,,, but if your electrical system is all ready weak or the system is wired improperly the cap isn't going to be effective.

Electrical 101??? Why do you suppose power supplies have caps, not the little teeny weeny ones, the BIG ones? They hold a reserve of power for the power supply,,, or amp in this case.

I think your friends installed the cap as a Band-Aid fix,,, to fix problems which they will not resolve.

That's what I mean, I know caps are everywhere and what they do, I
am just talking about their purpose in car audio for amps drawing
too much current, aka masking the problem and not helping it.

the only thing a cap can do is keep your lights from dimming on bass peaks. any quality amp has enough in the way of storage caps to keep itself supplied.
