 Subject: Sub Problems

Im having some problem with my sub, It has worked fine for over 2 years until now. Sometimes it cuts out, but as soon as i turn the music up it will turn back on. I checked all the connections except the wiring inside the sub box. What could it be?

did you check the ground from the amp to wherever you ran it to, i know when i did mine i did not thoroughly scape the grounding surface, and when the ground shifted, it would cut in and out like that.

I took the sub out of the box the other day and looked at it to make sure there was nothing flopping around in there that shouldnt be and i found a 1 inch tear in it
