ok i have a 98 cc. i already have a sony explod head unit and am looking for better speakers. the head unit puts out 52wx4. i want some bass from the rear but not enough to where you cant hear anything else. the stock speakers do a good job but at higher volumes i get distortion. im looking for a mid-high speaker in front and a mid-low speaker in back. i was originally thinking about 3-ways in front and little subs (maybe 8in) in back. i think i mite be able to make it work but it might be too much bass for a little cab. o yea, and im really not planning on getting an amp, maybe later but definitly not anytime soon.
i was looking on cardomain and saw the pioneer TS-A1780Rs. they look pretty good for the price. maybe 4 all around and just set them up so more bass in back...kinda like wut im doin with the stock setup.
