 Subject: Ported Box Question

I just bought 1 10" kicker solobaric L7...i want to build a ported enclosure but i dont understand the dimensions given in the manual....could someone help me out and explain how to make it... its says... 1.75cu. ft+port; 2.75X11.25", port 17.75" long
... also...any suggestions to alter it to fit in a truck better, i am removing my center console to fit whatever i make so i dont have to take out my seat...thanks alot

you take the dimensions for the port, including the material(mdf,pvc, etc.) thickness and add that volume to the 1.75. on the outside you'll end up with something larger than 1.75, so when you subtract the port volume, you still have 1.75cuft of airspace.
