Are the blueish looking parts remade of fiberglass or some other material, or are they stock? I'm talking about the pillars, the area around the head unit, and the corners on the floor.

i need to put up some more current pics, but the pillars and kick panels are fiberglass(now covered in matching vinyl,) the headunit and speaker grills are aluminum.

i did all the fabrication on the truck. the dash/pillars have probably 30-40hrs. in listening/positioning and maybe 8-10hrs in fab work. i could reproduce them alot faster now though.

yes, there's alot of metal behind them, leaving maybe 1/2" between the plastic and the metal. not nearly enough room to put a speaker 'in' it, so they have to come out. the metal is the basic factory 'roll cage' part of the A-pillar.

depends how much angle they have. mine stick out about 3", but with the positioning of mine i can still see the hood/fenders over them. so you're not missing any sight through the windshield at all. judges like that alot. :)
kicks are also a good way to go, but the ebrake will get in the way of a large speaker.
