Hi all, I was just wonderin what your input on my situation is. Here goes, I bought a Kenwood KDC-715S used, I paid, to a not so close but still a friend, $200. At the time I had no idea what the price or model was. I was told it was about $350 or so and that I was getting a good deal. Well $200 for a good last years model I was all cool with that. Now I setup the cd player and it's great, no complaints yet. The price never crossed my mind but it did cross my dad's and he looked up a KDC-716S which is a cheaper model. All get back to the point. The cd player costs between $220-$350+ depending on who you buy from. Now I paid $200 without sales tax. $220 + $20 shipping(more or less? for this) - $200 = $40 or so plus tax if applicable. I think I still came out on top and really wouldn't buy this cd player for $240 because I would consider it a waste but $200 is decent. However it's last years model(doesn't bother me, not comparing to others it's just something), it's about 6months old a little scratched, but I would consider it in good shape, and as I said no problems yet. What do you all think?

Your buddy probably did pay around $350 6 months ago and he probably paid retail at a stereo shop.

I paid 180 for a brand new KDC-4022 on ebay. I didn't see the model you mentioned on there, but if you shopped around, you probably could have found it for cheaper. Not that 200 is extremely overpriced, but you might have been able get something better for the same price. Just my thoughts.
