i have recently acquired 3 jlw3 10s and now im thinkin of how i want to put them in my club cab. after talkin w/my local installers i now have new ideas
a) take out bottom of seat and fire subs forward using a small cushion on top of box incase of a passenger. and mounting my amps across the back of the box and cool w/fans
b) take out seat bottom and fire subs up. then use very heavy guage wire mesh and raisers to actually have the subs fire up your a$$. and mount amps across the front under plexi w/fans
c) just pull a fiberglass mold and make a sealed thunderform type box... least of my ideas considering i have 4 amps to hide somehow if i do this
im leanin more to b. i know it sounded hoopie to me to but after my friend started explainin it to me it started making more sense. use 1.5" raisers on sides of subs to prevent sagging into them appon excursion and simply cover w/the extra rear stock seat covers i have...
