Hi Pass @ 85Hz - Front Defeatable

Dynamic Power 14.4 VDC
2 Ohm Load 100 w x 4
4 Ohm Load 50 w x 4

Now, this amp WAS part of a full setup with this amp powering the 4 main speakers and another JBL powering my sub. However, that was a different car before I got my 01 Dak QC.

This is the headunit I have installed currently.

Now eventually, I'm going to replace the 4 main speakers and route them off this amp. For now, i just want to route it out to my sub. Later on I will install the JBL and route it off that.

But, it's been ages since I had this pulled out of my old car and I don't remember the best way to hook the sub out to it.

Here are the questions I have...
- Do I want the two channel or 4 channel setting on the AMP?

- My headunit has RCA for sub out, but my speakers are currently connected to the regular speaker wire connections from the back of the head unit (since RCA for the speakers wasn't in use at the moment). Is there a problem if I still use the RCA output for the sub amp?

- There is a single RCA out for the head unit but multiple ins for the AMP. Which one should I run it out too?

- Which speaker out should I use from the amp? Front Rear? Left right? Should I set it up to plug into more then one? If so, which ones?

- The amp has cross over settings with options for
high pass or full range for the front channels
high pass, low pass or full range for the rear channels
Which settings do I use?

- How do I determine the gain levels to match my head unit?

Thanks for the help in advance!

None at all.

You can use a single RCA for mono, or run the rca's to the rear RCA output on your deck. The amp has a x-over in it already.

If you have a four channel amp you will use only two of the channels. Pick the side with the low x-over. Now, you need to bridge your amp so use the left + and right - of the two channels.

- The amp has cross over settings with options for high pass or full range for the front channels high pass, low pass or full range for the rear channels Which settings do I use?

Use low pass x-over for the sub.

- How do I determine the gain levels to match my head unit?

Turn your head unit up to as loud as possible with NO distortion. Make sure you turned your gain on your amp all the way down before hand. Now, slowly turn the gain up on the amp until your bass matches the loundness of the rest of your stereo. Remember, no distortion. That's called level matching.
