Will A 2004 Club Cab Dakota fit a MDF box under the seat? I took out my tool tray and there isn't much room under there. Is there a difference between 2004 and 2003? Do you have to raise the seat up to get something to fit?

Are you talking about the thunderform? If so yes it will fit in a 2004, I own a 2004 CC and it was a pain to put in but well worth it....

To get box with a lot of air space from the irregular shape of the truck's floor you will need to use a molded box like a Thunderform or make a MDF sided box with a fiberglass bottom. If you go with a full MDF box you will be losing a lot of useable air space because of the limilations of designing an all wood box. Check out these enclosures, they have MDF top and sides with a fiberglass bottom.
